Terms of Service
Last updated: 26 July 2026
These terms cover your use of the Preveal iOS app and the preveal.uk website. By using Preveal you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Preveal is operated by Preveal Team ("we", "us"). Contact: aaronjasonall@gmail.com
1. What Preveal is — and what it is not
Preveal is a hairstyle preview tool. It edits a photo you provide so you can see roughly how a different cut, style or colour might look on you, before you commit to it in a salon.
Please read this part carefully, because it is the honest limit of what we sell:
- A preview is an AI-edited image, not a photograph of a future you. Treat it as a conversation starter with your stylist, not a promise of a result.
- Whether a style actually works on you depends on your hair's texture, density, growth pattern, length and condition, and on your stylist's skill. None of that is visible in one photo, and none of it is something we can predict.
- Preveal does not give beauty ratings, attractiveness scores, or judgements about your appearance, and it never will.
- Preveal is not medical, dermatological, or professional cosmetic advice.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old to use Preveal. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use Preveal with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
3. Your photos, your rights
You keep every right you have in the photos you upload. We claim no ownership of them.
By using Preveal, you give us a narrow, temporary permission to do exactly one thing: send your photo to our image provider and store the resulting preview so the app can show it back to you. This permission exists only for as long as it takes to run that process, and ends when you delete the result. We do not use your photos to train AI models, to market Preveal, or for anything else. How this works in detail is set out in our Privacy Policy.
The previews you generate are yours to use. Share them, print them, take them to your stylist.
4. What you agree not to do
- Upload photos of other people without their permission, or photos of anyone under 13.
- Upload illegal content of any kind. Images are screened for child sexual abuse material by our image provider, and any match is handled according to their legal obligations.
- Use Preveal to impersonate someone, to harass anyone, or to create misleading images of a real person presented as genuine.
- Attempt to work around the free-look limit, extract our prompts or models, reverse-engineer or attack the service, or use it through automated clients.
We may suspend access that breaks these rules.
5. Free looks, subscriptions and billing
5.1 The free tier
Every device gets 3 free previews, in total — not per day, not per month. The counter is shown at the top of the Studio screen so you always know where you stand. Browsing styles and viewing looks you have already generated stays free, permanently.
Deleting your data does not reset the free counter.
5.2 Subscriptions
Preveal Pro is offered as a weekly plan with a 3-day free trial, and as a yearly plan without a trial. The price, currency and trial terms shown to you in the App Store at the moment of purchase are the ones that apply — that screen, not this page, is the authoritative statement of what you will be charged.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- If you start a free trial and do not cancel before it ends, it converts to a paid subscription at the stated price.
- Unused trial time is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
5.3 Cancelling
Cancel any time, in two taps: Settings → Manage subscription, then Cancel Subscription. This opens Apple's own subscription management. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for, and cancelling costs nothing.
We do not put the cancel path behind a survey, a chat agent, or a retention flow.
5.4 Refunds
Apple handles all refunds for App Store purchases — we cannot issue them. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
If you believe you were charged in error, email us at aaronjasonall@gmail.com. We cannot reverse the charge ourselves, but we will look at what happened and tell you honestly what we find.
6. Availability and changes
We try to keep Preveal working, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Generation depends on a third-party AI provider, and that provider can be slow, rate-limited, or unavailable.
If a generation fails, your free look is not consumed and you are not charged for it. This is enforced on our servers: the counter is only decremented after an image is successfully produced.
We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something you are paying for, or change the subscription terms, we will tell you before it takes effect, and you can cancel.
7. Disclaimers
Preveal is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these terms, including any implied warranty that a preview will be accurate, that a style will suit you, or that a salon can reproduce what you see.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law — including, for UK and EU consumers, statutory rights in relation to digital content.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the outcome of any decision you make about your hair based on a preview. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
9. Ending your use
You can stop at any time: cancel any subscription through Apple, delete your data in Privacy Center, and delete the app. We may end your access if you materially break these terms.
10. Governing law
The governing law and the courts having jurisdiction will be stated here once the operating entity is finalised. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory laws of their country of residence regardless of what this clause says.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top, and we will tell you in the app before material changes take effect.
